About our team:

At SurveyLocal, we work hard to remove the pain businesses and customers experience with writing online reviews. A lot of planning and coordination is involved in building our platform, growing our business, and supporting our customers.

The problem:

As CEO, it’s my job to make sure that every department understands our goals and is performing at the highest level. And for that we need the right tools.

We had a tried a bunch of task management tools, but kept running into the same problems. Some were too complex and required large investments of time to set up and maintain. Others were way too simple and didn’t have some of the key features we needed.

As CEO, I always want to keep an eye on what my team is working on. Before, I had to check in individually with every single person on my team to see what they were working on. One thing I love about Hive is that I can see exactly what is on everyone’s to-do list in the Team view (here’s a look at my view today):

At one glance, I know exactly what’s going on which has really helped with prioritizing.

Next up for us is to add new groups to Hive as we continue to hire new employees and expand our organizational structure. Keeping track of assignments and tasks while juggling priorities across multiple teams will become even more important as we add new positions and grow.
