Love Hive

What Our Customers Have Been Saying About Us

We’ve made it through more than three months of remote work, totally transitioning how we live our lives, the way we communicate with others, and how our organizations function. It’s been a time of learning and exploration for many of us as we’ve figured out new systems and utilized new technology to power our processes.

Hive is proud to fuel the workflows and day-to-day at organizations all over the world, and we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the things we’re hearing from our customers during this time. We’re dedicated to continually listening to and learning from our customers, so this feedback is of the utmost importance to us. It helps us decide what aspects of the product to keep the same, where to improve, and how we move forward in our product roadmap. Ahead, hear feedback from some of our superstar Hive users, gathered during this period of remote work. If you’re a Hive user and want to provide feedback, please feel free to do so in the comments below.

Ad Hoc Requests

I love that I’m able to create quick action cards for any ad hoc requests we get while still having consistent coverage for reoccurring tasks. The platform is easy to navigate, and it takes very little time to train new team members on how to use it. Also, I love the ability to further break out projects that have multiple steps in a clean and easy to follow way. We heavily utilize subactions in an action card to set separate due dates, details, and project owners.

Hive makes juggling multiple tasks simple, and prevents things from falling through the cracks. Also, although it’s not a function we regularly use, the ability to track project time in the platform is abundantly helpful for time efficiency tracking as well as meeting project allocation goals.” – Danielle W, Digital Advertising Supervisor

Manage Work

“It’s quick and easy to connect everything in one place, organize our teams work, see what’s on everyone’s plate, and keep up with that status. Ease of use is critical in driving adoption on the team. Hive excels in this area compared to other solutions we tested.

Previously, our team worked out of multiple systems, which lead to a lot of searching for artifacts and lack of visibility and transparency on work status. Now we have one solution that ties together email, messaging and our work flow. Our team is more productive and more connected as a result.” – Hive user in Venture Capital and Private Equity

Hive benefits

“Since we started using Hive, it’s been so much easier to establish an overarching view of where projects stand and set clear priorities. Hive provides a clear global view that helps everyone understand plans and projects as they develop – which is imperative for everyone across the organization and team.

As we’ve transitioned into this time of widespread remote work, Hive has been crucial for our team. Without face-to-face interaction, communication can be tough. With Hive, we are able to see which tasks are in progress, what is due, and what questions arise. With the current state of the nation, there are many adjustments the world is making, and we’re doing our best to keep up with them. Hive allows us to keep up with the changes throughout project lifecycles and continue to be there for our customers.” – Heather Rogge, Dish Networks

Remote work

Before Hive, we had some tools in place, however, nothing that was user friendly and that everyone on the team – from management, to account services to creative – could easily access, update and understand. We knew we needed to find ways to be efficient and streamline our process, which is what led us to search for a project management system.

With the move to remote work, Hive has been a complete game-changer —  a year ago, work from home would’ve been much more difficult. The minute we changed to remote work, we kept moving forward.” – Charlene Coughlin, Twist Creative

Improved communication

“Hive helped our team to communicate with one another and enabled members to provide descriptions of the tasks that needed to be done. Another thing that Hive helped me with was my organization skills. I tend to take on a lot of tasks and overwhelm myself with many different things — I am someone who writes down a lot of things on paper, but I sometimes lose track of everything, so using a program like Hive has been super helpful.

Two benefits that I have found with Hive: being able to communicate with my team and keep us all on the same page, and being able to stay organized. I love using planners and writing out different projects, assignments and tasks with different due dates, but sometimes I have to rewrite those tasks on my laptop or on another piece of paper to communicate it to my team. With Hive, I get to do both of those things — keep my team on the same page and stay organized so that I can do my job and finish the vital tasks that I need to get done.” – Hive user in PR and Communications

Hive destress

“With Hive, I can now juggle 25 projects simultaneously without missing details! Being able to pin projects to the top toolbar, create project templates, assign actions and sub-actions to different people, track team productivity, and integrate with things like Google Drive and Slack add up to an all-encompassing project management tool.

Honestly, I would never go back. Before using Hive, I was incredibly stressed all the time, and I worried I would drop the ball on projects (and did). I don’t have to have that constant nagging in the back of my mind anymore. Hive has changed my life for the better, and I am grateful for all the hard work their team has put into making this tool just what any organization needs.” – Jennifer L, Web developer

Subtasks

“I love that I am able to create tasks and subtasks. It helps me stay extremely organized. I love that you can attach emails, Google documents, or upload documents to the tasks so the assignee has all they need. The different views in Hive are also great. If you need to follow a deadline schedule, you can view your assignments in a calendar format. If you are working on a big team project, you can view assignments by assignee. It makes it so easy to work more efficiently!

Hive has kept our entire team, both individually and collectively, more organized. I feel as though it saves time as well because we can place all project information within the task and if used thoroughly, could cut out questions or meetings.” – Hive user in Higher Education

COVID

“Since implementing Hive, our team has truly transformed the way we work. Particularly, during the COVID-19 crisis where we are not able to meet in person, Hive helped streamline our day-to-day processes. With Hive, we have overhauled our organization and client management. Our centralized Hive dashboards and status (Kanban) view give us an overarching picture of where we stand with each client. Additionally, all of the information we need for each client account is streamlined in one place.” – David Mainthow, Cushman and Wakefield
