We are so excited to share this week's product releases! Don't forget to visit our Hive Forum to request the features you want in Hive.

1. Rearrange Custom Field Order

Our newest update provides more customization for custom fields. Action cards automatically list custom fields by creation date, which makes it difficult for teams with many custom fields to edit one field repeatedly.

Custom fields can now be rearranged in Workspace Settings. To change custom field order, go to your profile picture dropdown -> Workspace Settings -> Custom fields. From here, users can drag and drop custom fields to change the order.

Please note: Only admins or custom field owners are able to rearrange the field order. Once the order is changed, the new order will be applied to all action cards in your workspace.

Thank you to Amanda from Signature Hardware for requesting this feature!

2. Visible Start/End Dates in Gantt

Start and End dates are available again in Gantt. Users will now be able to see the numerical date and day of the week. To adjust these settings, visit the gear icon in Gantt and select "Start date" and "End date."

3. Hive Automate Recipe: When an Action Card Reaches a Specific Status, Send an Email

This week's Hive Automate recipe makes it easy to keep track of multiple projects and update project members along the way. When an Action in Hive reaches a new status (In Progress, Complete, etc.) (trigger), an email is automatically sent to the designated members (action). This recipe can be created with either Outlook or Gmail. Go check it our in our Hive Recipes Library now!
