We have two new features to share this week! Both were requested by Hive users in the Hive Forum. Thanks to everyone who voted!
1. Share Summary View with Everyone
Sometimes teams need to see the big picture, regardless of their role in the project. Summary views are a great resource to summarize all projects and actions into one view.
Summary view is now accessible to everyone, including new workspace members. In the summary view settings, change "Viewing settings" to "all" to automatically make summary views public to all workspace users.
Thank you to Micah from RYNO for requesting this feature!
2. Create Dependencies on Recurring Actions
Dependencies are a great resource to show which actions are dependent on one another. This eliminates excessive communication and makes planning projects easier.
Dependencies will now carry over in recurring actions, making sure all information stays in place when moving actions around.
Dependencies can be created on recurring actions within the same family of the recurring action; therefore, they will only carry over between:
(1) a recurring action and one of its subactions
(2) subactions on a recurring action
(3) recurring subactions and their children
(4) recurring subactions and other subactions at their level
Note: this means that recurring action dependencies will not be carried over between a recurring action and a non-recurring action.
