New This Week In Hive: April 11, 2022

This week, we have two new features to share! Both were requested by Hive users in the Hive Forum. Thank you to everyone who voted! Your feedback is what makes us #DemocraticallyBuilt.

1. Hive Notes Templates

Using Hive Notes for meetings just got better. Introducing our new custom template feature - designed to save time in recurring meetings and streamline task-tracking. Users can choose between Hive-created or custom templates to organize meeting notes.

To create a note template, go to the "more" dropdown menu in the note, and click "save as a template".

We have also added the option to "apply a previous template" for existing notes. You will then be prompted to choose between two folders:

• Custom Templates - the templates you've created

• A folder of Hive-created templates

This feature was requested by Helena at University of California, Berkeley, Stefanie at TWIST Creative, Inc., and Daniel at Eurofins Viracor BioPharma Services.

2. Enhanced Pending Approval Sorting

Pending approvals are now sorted in two ways - by due date or by approval request date.

• Pending approvals with a due date are sorted by the soonest due date.

• Pending approvals without a due date are sorted by the oldest pending approval to the newest pending approval.

This update will help users prioritize approvals by level of importance.
