We have five new product updates this week, including our top-requested feature EVER! ????  Thanks to everyone who voted and requested on our Hive Forum.

1. Make Projects Public by Default

If you want to make sure everyone in your workspace has access to all projects, you can now set your project default settings to make all projects automatically public. When you add new members to your team, they will automatically have access to all projects in the workspace. To make this change, go to your workspace settings and toggle the project default settings to 'Make projects public by default'. This feature was requested by Alexandra Beizan-Diaz from Women's World Bank.

2. Dark Mode (in Beta)

Our top-requested feature is now live in beta! You can now switch your screen to dark mode, which is both easier for your eyes and better designed for night-owl users. To toggle it on, make sure Beta is enabled. Go to your profile picture dropdown, and select dark mode.

3. Google Meet in Hive Calendar

If your team uses Google Meetings instead of Zoom, you can now easily join through Hive. With this latest update, the meeting link will automatically populate in the calendar invite. This feature was requested by Hunter Kronberg from Papa Johns.

4. Un-archive Projects

Need to reference an archived project? Workspace admins can now pull projects out of the archives.

To un-archive a project, go to the project navigator, hover over the archived project, and select "unarchive." The project will be brought back to your list of active projects.

5. Quick-edit Time Recording

This new update makes it faster to edit a recorded time session. Instead of going back to the action card to make edits, you can now access the editing features in the top-right corner of your screen. In the quick-edit menu, you can edit the time, date, category, and description.

This feature was requested by Francesco Zani from Flux Branding.
