We've all been there. You scramble to log into a Zoom meeting, start listening in, and realize no one is taking notes. And who knows if anyone else on the meeting is taking notes either. Best case scenario, you take a few notes when you have a moment to breathe, and everyone ends up sending around follow-ups that are similar, but not exactly, what you had in mind. Forget cohesive next steps. It's a task in and of itself to decode who actually took the more accurate notes with the correct follow-ups.
Now, let's imagine a world where, when you have a Zoom meeting, Hive reminds you 5 minutes before and prompts you to take notes. When you click the "Take Notes" pop-up, you're transported to a split-screen Zoom meeting with your video feed on the left-hand side and your Hive meeting notes on the left-hand side. Wouldn't that be amazing?
We thought so too. That's why we built it. Say hello to a whole new meeting experience with seamless note taking and collaborative next steps that can be assigned directly from a note. The notes can also be shared with meeting attendees via a "Share" button at the top right side of the note, and you can also assign attendees a next step in Hive.
Let's take a tour of the feature to help you better understand how it works.
5 minutes before your Zoom meeting is scheduled, you receive a pop-up reminder to "Take Notes" or "Join Zoom."
By clicking "Take Notes," you'll be transported to a split-screen Hive Notes and Zoom meeting, and the Hive Note will be pre-populated with the meeting's description, attendees, and any other information that carries over from Google Calendar.
Once the meeting starts, you can either Share the note with a teammate to collaborate, or take notes in real-time in the Note itself.
As the meeting continues, you can add next steps with a few clicks and assign them to anyone on the call, ensuring that a follow-up never falls through the cracks again.
Once the meeting is over, easily send the note to attendees by clicking the "Email" button.
