New This Week In Hive: May 23, 2022
We are excited to share our latest product update released this week! Thank you to everyone who voted and requested on our Hive Forum.
1. Proof Documents on Mobile
Users can now proof documents on the Hive mobile app.
To use mobile proofing and annotations, users must upload the document on the desktop app. Then, in mobile, select the action card associated with the proof and choose “Proofing” on the card.
From there, select the file to be proofed. Inside the proofing portal, users can add annotations and markup the document.
The bottom of the annotation window displays icons as follows:
- Comments and outlines inside the document
- Other thumbnails related to other proofed documents
- Settings that pertain to annotation inside the app
To access all annotation modes in the app, select the blue “Annotate” text at the top of the screen. From there, users can toggle between annotation modes.
Note: You must have the most recent Hive mobile app downloaded on your device to access this functionality.

2. Quick-access Google Meet in Hive
Does your team prefer Google Meet over Zoom? You can now allow quick-access to your Google meetings in Hive. If your calendar is synced in Hive, Google Meet links will add to My Day, making it easy to join a meeting.
To access the meeting, go to the event in My Day and select “Open Google Meet.”
Note: Hive Calendar must be toggled on in Apps to make sure your calendar syncs properly.
