How To Integrate Hive With Your Favorite Productivity Tools
As the only project management platform built by users, for users, at Hive we understand how important it is to integrate your workflows with other business productivity apps that you may use. In addition to our native integrations with Zoom, Google Drive, and many other top tools, we’ve partnered with Zapier to allow you to connect Hive with thousands of other tools. Here’s how to utilize all of the integrations Hive has to offer.
Hive Apps
Integrations with some of the most commonly-used productivity tools can be found directly in the ‘My Apps’ section of the Hive Apps window. Once you’ve clicked on ‘Apps’ in the left navigation panel, scroll to the bottom of the screen. Here you can link tools with Hive by simply toggling the bar on or off for each app.
When toggled on, these apps will be accessible right within your Hive workspace.
How to use Hive x Zapier integrations
If you’re looking to connect Hive with a tool you don’t see in ‘My Apps’, don’t worry. We’ve partnered with Zapier, a no-code automation tool which allows you to connect the data in Hive with more than 4,000 applications, including Microsoft Office, Twitter, Zendesk and many other apps. With Zapier, you can customize and automate connections to suit your workflow. These connections are called ‘Zaps’, which have two parts – a ‘Trigger’ and an ‘Action’. A Zap has one app as its ‘Trigger’, and then you pick an ‘Action’, the task you want Zapier to do.
You can set up a Zap in minutes, and you don’t need any coding to do it. To utilize Zapier in Hive, make sure you toggle ‘on’ the Zapier app in the ‘My Apps’ section we mentioned above.
Getting started with Zapier
- Head over to the Zapier website and sign up for your free account
- Once you’re signed up, log in and click ‘Connected Accounts’ from the top menu
- Select ‘Connect New Account’ and search for ‘Hive’
- Connect with Hive using your credentials
- Get creating Zaps!
